Ladies First was created by Lisa, an athlete all of her life, who is striving to bring the dedication, love of athleticism, and confidence to other women.
Ladies First was started to help women get into shape and have a better life. Our staff are all women; for women, by women. We understand the needs and issues facing women. The other goal was to make this program affordable and available to as many women as possible. 1 out of 3 Americans are overweight. Weight and health issues continue to be a major concern for our society.
I grew up a “tomboy”, playing sports and being active my entire life, at 45 I still train and compete. When I became a personal trainer, i realized there was a gap between what I have learned about personal training from books and on my own experience as an athlete. The program I have developed combines the best of over 30 years of practical experience and several well respected training curriculums.
Girls aren’t exposed as much as boys to weight training. Although this is slowly changing, women still have a long way to go. I feel uncomfortable lifting weights in a crowded gym full of men and I know what I am doing! I can imagine how intimidating it must feel for a woman new to weight training. It would take a ton of courage. I am going to give you the knowledge and confidence to do it. Or if you prefer, you will have a program that can be done completely in your home.

Sarah- Creative Director
Sarah is a student preparing for Nursing school and enthusiastic in learning about physical training for women.
Lauren- Physical Training Model
Lauren is an undergraduate studying business, but has always been physically active whether it be in sports or just at the gym.
